Turning Visitor Data Into a Smarter Pop-Up Schedule
How Visit St. Lucie planned pop-ups around real out-of-state visitor patterns
Visit St. Lucie used Arrivalist TripInsights™ geolocation data to plan Mobile Visitors Center activations around real out-of-state visitor patterns, replacing an event-by-event guess.

The Challenge
Visit St. Lucie's Mobile Visitors Center had been deployed reactively, showing up at events as they were scheduled, rather than at the times and places where out-of-state visitors were consistently present. The team needed a data-driven basis for a recurring activation schedule: which points of interest draw the most out-of-state traffic, and which days are worth prioritizing.
The Result
Using Arrivalist TripInsights, Visit St. Lucie identified its highest-value activation sites and the specific days each one peaks for out-of-state visitors, building a rotation instead of one fixed weekly template.
Downtown Fort Pierce & the City Marina peak Saturdays: the clearest standing weekend sites.
Tradition Square runs on a different rhythm, peaking midweek (Fri/Tue): a separate weekday slot.
Jetty Park is the most evenly distributed site: a reliable any-day fallback.
Clover Park & John B. Park Sports Complex are spring-training driven: worth a dedicated pop-up only Feb–Apr.

This view was prepared to inform March–May 2026 Mobile Visitors Center planning specifically. Versions covering other periods are available; that scope is part of why Clover Park's spring-training pattern is called out above.
"We use that data to report to our stakeholders. We were at this event, and we track how many people we engage with when we activate. It really reinforces and justifies the investment we've made."
Charlotte Bireley, Tourism & Marketing Director, St. Lucie County
